Gaming Performance: FutureMarks
3DMARK2001SE is a classic and still a valid tool for CPU performance assessment. 3DMark05 is the latest edition and features a CPU-benchmark as well but we do have some reservations about that one.
The 1066 MHz version is marginally faster.
We have struggled with this one for awhile but for some reason we keep getting the same results showing disproportionally high performance of the original 925X chipset compared to its brethren.

When looking at the individual scores, CPU benchmark #1 is the one that gives the runaway result.
The second part of the benchmark on the other hand yielded scores as expected.
Interestingly, we repeated the benchmarks a number of times with the same results that probably reflect some system anomaly that, as soon as we discover what it is will probably cause a pronounced D'UH..
