In Sysmark 2004, the P4 still rules. We overclocked the 4000+ to 220 MHz or 2640 MHz clock speed and at that speed it came in with an overall score of 229, which would have taken first place... but then, we could have overclocked the P4 as well. What is interesting, though is that there is almost no difference between the A64 3800+ and the 4000+

Another head to head in the mid field. At 2640 MHz, the 4000+ reached a 244 score which would have been right at the top.

At 2640 MHz, the 4000+ reached a 227 score.

With just a bit more clockspeed, the Athlon64 4000+ would have looked really hot in these benchmarks.
