Still one of my favorite games. "Hold still and I'll make it quick" appears the message from the Athlon to the P4.

The flyby results are close since they are a function of the graphics card mostly. Even though, the Athlon 64 FX-51 pulls slightly ahead of the field. (Series 2). More important for evaluation of CPU power is the botmatch, which leaves no doubt about the winner here (Series 1)

GunMetal
Benchmark1

We have seen some results showing some really strong performance of the Opteron in GunMetal which was surprising since Gunmetal is mostly a DirectX benchmark and, therefore, graphics card-limited. We were not able to find any significant differences between any of the CPUs tested. Our settings were 1024x768 with quality set to the lowest settings
Benchmark2

We are getting the same results in the second benchmark, the Athlon 64 FX-51 leads but the margins are extremely narrow since the limiting factor appears to be the graphics adapter and not the CPU
