Cinebench (Maxon) features four different benchmarks from CPU intensive raytracing over graphics card-heavy C4D shading and OpenGL in software and with Hardware T&L enabled.

The CPU intensive raytracing benchmark profits enormously from hyperthreading and pushes the Intel processors way ahead of anything the AMD competition can accomplish. However, in both C4D shading and OpenGL applications, the Athlon64 and especially the FX series are unbeatable. Again, the light-green bar is the FX53 at 2604 MHz. Note how the higher memory bandwidth favors the FX series. Overall, it is a solid green-top that we are looking at.
