AMD Athlon64 3000+ At:
Gaming Performance

What drives the computer industry? would be the Jeopardy question. Let the games begin and 3DMark2001SE is as usual the appetizer:

Once again, the overclocked Athlon64 FX53 is the light green bar. The most compelling reason to show the overclocked results is that if a system gets safe and sound through 3DMark2001SE without crash, it will pretty much take anything else as well.

Aquamark3

Well, we'll overclock the P4 the next time around. In this case, we were running at 2640 MHz or 220 MHz bus speed, which did not pose any problem in Aquamark but caused some stability issues in extended runtime benchmarks.

Comanche4, X2-Rolling Demo, UT2003 and MDK2

Note that the green bars are reserved exclusively for the FX series and the grey bars are showing both P4s and Athlon64 (non-FX) benchmark scores. The overlocked Comanche4, X2 and UT2003 are at 217/2604 MHz while the MDK2 score was obtained at 222 / 2664 MHz.
