| AMD's Phenom Processor - Beyond Erratum 298 | |

Gaming Performance
UnrealTournament3
UnrealTournament3 heavily taxes the CPU with artificial intelligence of the bots and PhysX calculations and runs easily up to about 80% CPU utilization whenever the scene gets crowded with bots. Even on a quad core system, multiple bots in the same scene can cause the system to choke. We ran UT3Bench 6 times for each configuration, threw out the highest and lowest value and averaged the remaining 4 scores. The benchmark runs at low image quality and 1280x 1024 pixel resolution. Even though the benchmark itself sets the highest fps rate to 999, we have not seen anything beyond 64 fps, meaning that there could be a cap in the game itself.

Interestingly, the Phenom wins here by quite a margin.
