Here the 875 platform shows that age is not necessarily a handicap and the Extreme Edition marginally wins

Overall, in Sysmark2004, the 925 platform with DDR2 stomps the competition. It is noteworthy though that there is hardly any difference with respect to the different latency settings. However, this is not too surprising either since most of the applications should be using data chunks that are small enough to fit into one or the other CPU cache.
