Maxon CineBench 2003
One of the most established benchmarks, CineBench runs an entire gamut of applications from ray tracing to c4D shading and software vs. hardware OpenGL processing.
In the ray tracing application, the hyperthreading capabilities of the P4 guarantee its dominance, however, as a surprise, the P4 3.6E on the 925 platform also scores a victory in the C4D shading
Open GL remain a home-run for AMD processors, however, note the strong showing of the 925 platform here as well. Clock Speed does not help the Prescott in this type of application, Amorphium or by extension other floating point intense applications that are using small portions of the object for a step by step rendering don't appear to like the Prescott.
