3D Gaming Power

3DMark 2005

We were using the CPU benchmark of 3DMark 2005 because it offers better granularity of the results than 3DMark'06 (shown above)

CPU benchmark scores, higher is better.

Score / W, higher is better.

If there is any graph that sums up the progress of the Core 2 processors compared to any other processor, this one would be it. Compared to the Core 2, the Netburst P4 looks like a piece of garbage (sorry but it is true)
