As mentioned on the last page, even setting the resolution and quality to halfway decent levels makes the CPU an irrelevant factor, despite the fact that the graphics solutions we were using, that is GeForce 7800GT in SLI configuration are still pretty much cutting edge. The Prey benchmark results tell a pretty convincing tale of this fact. Needless to say that all of the benchmark results shown there are to close to each other that there is virtually no way of noticing any difference with respect to "Game Experience". There are, however, other genres of game, for example Sims or possibly Flight Simulators that may experience more benefit from better CPU horse power.
