Note that the individual numbers refer to one physical core only. Presler has two physical cores. As a result, the cache sizes need to be multiplied by 2 x. Each core is further split into two logical cores via HyperThreading technology.
Memory Bandwidth

Dual core processors share the memory interface, either through the system request interface in the case of the AMD design, or else, through the shared host interface in Intel's AGTL bus. In either case, there is a need for arbitration between the two cores that costs some bandwidth. In general, the 955 (Presler) shows some improvement over the 840/820 cores but is still far away from the theoretical limit of 8500 MB/sec. Keep in mind that increasing the memory frequency will not change any of this since the host bus will under all circumstances remain the bottleneck.
CPU Multimedia Performance

For what it's worth, we are showing those numbers but we honestly don't know what they are good for.
