Similar to ViewPerf, SPECapc for 3dsmax requires a professional graphics card in order to run properly. At the end, a number of scores is generated that are compiled into a CPU score, a graphics (GFX) score and the arithmetic means of both.

It is interesting to see how much power the extra L3 cache breathes into the P4. The improved graphics scores are basically just a s side-effect.
