Final Words
The latest Intel processor family based on the 45 nm "Penryn" core has finally been christianed, Yorkfield and Wolfdale are the new code names and both of them show that performance is still not stagnant with new designs. Even in benchmarks where Intel had established already a lead over AMD, that gap has widened (with the caveat that we still need to confirm the benchmarks before the final verdict).
