Epic's UT engine is geared towards multithreading, yet, there are limitations of how many cores are supported.




UT3Bench results at default settings (1280x1024, low quality)
UT3Bench appears to utilize at least three cores, which is quite the record in gaming applications we have seen. Along with the side kicks of system management (particularly in Vista), eight cores appear just about what the doctor ordered for playability.
