Benchmark Results
We played around a bit with the results and the best way of presenting them and finally decided to break them up into the different sub routines that are beig performed by the system where we present the 64-bit and 32-bit results in one graph. The Athlon64 results are given in AMD-green, the P4 ExtremeEdition in blue and the garden variety P4-660 in lavender, with the 32-bit results in pinstripe and the 64-bit scores in candy-cane pattern for easy reading. All scores are runtime in seconds, shorter is better.

Wizard is essentially the setup of the entire set of procedures that are used to stitch the individual frames together, including the permission settings for the horizontal overlap and the vertical offset between individual frames

Stitch describes the final stitching together of the individual pictures after all other procedures have been applied to each frame to correct for geometry, exposure and color mismatch.
In both cases, 64-bit processing is substantially faster. Note how the FX53 takes first place in the 64-bit environment whereas it falls behind in 32-bit processing (stitch)
