| Pentium4 2.4 GHz Another Turning Point | |
| (Review by MS, April 8, 2002) |
We know, the good folks over at Intel don't really like to see this benchmark being used for the Pentium4, however, it is really not that bad. Though we did not manage to catch up with the scores we managed to pull with the Athlon XP2100+, the P4 on a well-greased DDR platform gets very close.

Compared to the almost 102 point score we achieved with the overclocked Athlon, the P4 is still not there, however, 87.1 and 96.3 are darn fast and probably the highest scores for any P4 system I have yet seen. Keep in mind that the memory was running in 3:5 mode, that is at 166 and 195 MHz respecively.

The Pentium4 does much better (on a relative scale) in the new version of CCWS and once again, our scores are top notch (please feel free to compare them to any other review out there).

Those are excellent scores, to say the least.
