Throughout the benchmarks we are showing numbers for different operating frequencies, that is, 3.0 and 3.2 GHz as 15 and 16 x 200 MHz, respectively, 3.5GHz (14 x 250 MHz) and 3.6 GHz (12 x 300 MHz). The differences between the different boards were negligible enough to throw out detailed listings. All benchmarks were run at a fixed 200 MHz memory frequency (1:1, 5:4 and 3:2) at 2:2:2:7 for CL:tRCD:tRP:tRAS with performance settings at Turbo at the 1:1 setting or disabled at the higher PSB settings.
Despite the new Intel cooler's new and improved looks and functionality, we used the Zalman CNPS7000 AlCu, quite possibly the best air cooler out there right now.
