Cinebench
Over the course of the past reviews, we noted that the Hardware T&L benchmark of Cinebench2003 was rather sensitive to memory latencies. Admittedly, there are some irregularities in this benchmark since the results are not always 100% reproducible, however, the general trend has held up through all our benchmarking efforts thus far.
C4D Shaders

First a run of C4D to establish a system baseline where no real differences are visible.
OpenGL SW T&L

With software T&L, the CPU is too busy to notice much of a difference either.
OpenGL HW T&L

Once T&L are executed in hardware, the demand for memory bandwidth increases substantially and the differences between the individual modules become rather noticeable.

OpenGL Speed-up

The difference between the software T&L and hardware execution is calle OpenGL Speed-up and in this case we see essentially the same pattern as in the HW T&L results, which is not surprising since the same data were used to generate the speed-up factor.
There is already some noticeable difference in system performance, depending on the memory module used. It will get better on the next page.
