WinXP Installation

No real complaints there, the only issue is that the installation of the chipset drivers requires manual selection / reopening of the driver CD. No big issue, though.

Memory Performance

All i845 chipsets are created equal, well sort of. It is no surprise, therefore, that similar boards with similar specs will have similar performance. For comparison we are showing the Iwill P4HT at the same settings.

Integer (blue) and floating point (red) streaming memory performance on both IWill P4HT and the ABit BH7. There is virtually no difference between both boards that is beyond the impact of the difference of a fraction of one MHz of the FSB.
