Test Setup
The system was tested in the following configuration:
- ASUS A7A266
- AMD ThunderBird 1G (10 x 100 MHz, B-cut)
- AMD ThunderBird 1.2G (9 x 133 MHz, C-cut)
- ATi Radeon 64 DDR
- IBM DTPA 372050 HDD
- ASUS 40 x CDROM
- 3Com 100 Mbit Ethernet adapter.
- Windows98 first edition.

- 1/2 x 128 MB Micron (16Mx8 single sided) PC2100 DDR
- 1/2 x 128 MB Corsair (Samsung 16Mx8) PC2100 DDR
- 1 x 128 MB Mushkin PC 2400 (prototype)
- SDRAM
- 1/2 128 MB EMS HSDRAM 150
- 1/2 128 MB Corsair XSDRAM 150

Installation
Installation was done with the Mushkin PC2400 prototype installed in the first DDR slot and the 1 GHz Thunderbird (100 MHz) bus and went without problems through the usual fresh install of Win98 and installation of the drivers. The ATi Radeon was recognized without problems and showed no abnormal behavior. All in all, within the limited sample of hardware used, there were no compatibility issues at all.
