It's a very close call between the P3 3.2GHz and the Athlon64 3200+

In the first CPU benchmark, the A64 outperforms the P4 at the same rating


With increasing complexity of the setup, the A64 falls back and comes in behind the Dual channel XP3200+. Another case of bandwidth starvation, very similar to the Athlon XP3200 in single channel vs. dual channel mode.
