Encoding
Dr. DivX OSS
We encoded an 18 MB MPEG file into DivX format (4.22 MB).

MainConcept H.264
We encoded the same MPEG file into 1920 x 1080 pixels H.264 file

Runtime in seconds, lower is better
DVD-Shrink 3.2
We compressed "Runaway Jury" (6.56 GB) to a 3.9 GB file

Overall, the encoding performance is just a bit below that of the Sapphire board. We ran all applications with either 1T or 2T Command Rate settings which did not make any difference. This is not surprising since all encoding applications are essentially using streaming transfers where command rates almost by definition can't make a difference.
