It is not really clear what this benchmark measures.
Software OpenGL rendering is interesting but not necessarily relevant for real world applications since all current GPUs have OpenGL drivers.
Of all benchmarks within CineBench2003, the hardware enabled OpenGL-rendering appears to be the most real-world oriented since it reflects mostly the modern system architecture. The Dothan shows a strong performance here, something we will see again in gaming applications.
