3D Rendering - Caligari

As mentioned earlier, for some reasons the trial version of 3dsmax 8.0 did not work on the C51, however, we have benchmark results for Caligari TrueSpace. Keep in mind that this type of application is primarily CPU-centric, meaning that the overall performance will not be influenced much by the memory performance.

It is "only" 3 % but 3 % on an otherwise identical platform are a tangible performance increase

3D Rendering - Cinebench 2003

Another CPU-centric benchmark, the C51 is faster but the difference is not that pronounced (~ 0.8% in favor of the C51).

OpenGL Hardware Rendering benefits mostly from memory latencies and nothing touches the FX60 on the DDR1 platform. on the AM2 platform, the C51 is once again roughly 2.5% faster.
