ASUS WL330 Wireless Portable Access Point
Teapot Tempest
(Review by Aaron "Ludicrous" Vienot, August 5, 2004)
Conclusions

We didn’t have any special expectations for the WL-330, but it was still an impressive gadget. It performs functions already available on the market from other products, but it does so in a third of the space and weight. The unit (or one of its ‘g’-enabled siblings) should be an ideal companion for anyone who travels with a wireless-equipped notebook, or who wants the convenience of being able to transport a full-featured Access Point/Wireless Ethernet Adapter in a case neither larger nor heavier than a compact shaving kit.

Ed. Comment:

I tested the WL-330 over several weeks in comparison to much more expensive LinkSys and DLink Wireless access point and the WL330 turned out very simply the better choice. In other words, it is not only for traveling but also a real access point for any home network environment that especially convinces because of its virtual invisibility.
