Crytek's FarCry
We used our own LC-5 Pier demo which we recorded with special emphasis on absence of enemies while overloading it with Environment Mapped Bump Mapping (EMBM) effects (water) and luscious jungle vegetation to stress the maximum out of the shader engines. FarCry was run with Patch 1.3.

Knowing that FarCry uses SFR, it is not overly surprising to see that SLI does not return the same gains as in AFR games. At 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, the performance increase is a meager 17%, at higher resolution it goes up to 46 and 53% but the SLI configuration still does not reach the GF 6800 GT . The Load Balancing bar was in all cases jiggling around the center of the screen. Red: 6600 GT SLI; Turquoise: Sapphire RADEON X800 XT; Yellow: GeForce 6800GT; Blue: GeForce 6600GT Single.
