| ASUS V8420 Pure / V8460 Ultra Deluxe The Art Of Deception | |
| (Review by MS, July 31, 2002) |
ASUS V8460
We have been using the V8460 or GeForce4 Ti4600 a la ASUS for quite some time now and, of course, we have been impressed by the raw physical dimensions of this card which abides by nVidia's reference design. We won't get into the detailed specs here, since everything is available on the ASUS website
The first V8460 that found its way onto our doorsteps is basically a purple edition of the nVidia reference design. The particular specimen is configured for NTSC as indicated by the sticker.
So, what do we have here?
Samsung Originals here, rated at 3ns for ~ 660 MHz DDR data rate which is consistent with what we found as memory operating frequency.
Standard VGA, s-video and LCD out are the ports on the "Pure" edition of the ASUS V8460 .
