The Art Of Deception
(Review by MS, July 31, 2002)

Game 3 - Lobby - Low Detail

the V8460 sticks out like a sore thumb from the rest of the field but the V8420 maintains a solid seceond place.

Game 3 - Lobby - High Detail

Again, LODs are working against the ATI RADEON 8500, not that the difference is more than a hare's ass, though

Game 4 - Nature

After the first revision of driver, the Nature scene has always been a stronghold for the RADEON but some 10% performance delta between all contenders is not enough to break a sweat here.

Fill Rate (Single Texturing)

Now we are talking some serious kick-ass performance delta between the TI4600 and the rest. Everything else is pretty much according to the specs and expectations.

Fill Rate (Multi Texturing)

The Ti 4200 can't beat the specs of the RADEON 8500
