 ASUS RADEON X800Pro to XT
(Review by MS, June 16, 2004)
ASUS RADEON
9600XT At:

X2 RollingDemo

We were running the demo at the default setting, that is, with only bump mapping enabled and at the highest quality level with shadows and antialiasing enabled from the demo console. In the case of the default settings, the system limitations negate the performance increase achieved on the GPU level. With shadows enabled and antialiasing, the GPU was the limiting factor.

Default (Automatic & Bumpmapping)

Pink: RADEON 9800Pro; Blue: GFFX 5900; Yellow: RADEON 9800XT; Turquois: AX-800Pro; Maroon: AX-800Pro (mod).

Antialiasing, Shadows

Pink: RADEON 9800Pro; Blue: GFFX 5900; Yellow: RADEON 9800XT; Turquois: AX-800Pro; Maroon: AX-800Pro (mod).
