Shader Model 2.0 Graphics Benchmarks
Return To Proxicon

The two SM2.0 benchmarks are rather consistent, at low resolution, the SLI configuration wins, but as the number of pixels increases, the X1900 XTX becomes more and more dominant.

High Dynamic Range /Shader Model 3.0 Benchmarks

Once again, there are no results for the older ATI cards and, therefore, the X1900 stands by itself against the FX 7800GT in single and SLI configuration.

Antialiasing
We tried to run 3DMark'06 with 4 x antialiasing enabled and - for the record - it worked fine for the X1900 XTX. The 7800GTs allowed running the SM2.0 benchmarks but not the HDR/SM3.0 applications. Isolated numbers don't really mean anything and therefore we are omitting them from this review but we will tie them into follow-up articles as soon as we can put them into perspective.
