X3 - Rolling Demo
X3 is the successor of the X2 game and, kudos to Egosoft, has a similarly thrilling demo / benchmark built in that captures the incredible complexity of the visual effects realized by Egosoft. Al benchmarks were run with 4 x AA and 4 x AF and "glow enabled". For some reasons we were not able to finish any runs in Crossfire configuration, the system plain and simply locked up after a few seconds or gave us a blank screen with the side effect of the graphics cards overheating.

FarCry (patched to 1.3)
As usual, we rely on our LC-5 demo recorded in the "Pier" level for maximum eye candy provided by water and ripple effects caused by the surf, followed by an abundance of leaves, courtesy of a run through the tropical jungle.

FarCry shows the X1900 XTX in the most favorable light.
