Futuremark has released a patch to disable cheating on the scores. Since we don't cheat, this is a somewhat moot point but it is good to know that there is attention being paid to what is going on in the hunt for high scores. We'll look at the overall scores first and then at some of the individual benchmarks.

The X800XL is closely trailing the GeForce 6800GT -- at about 25% lower msrp. On a relative scale, the X800XL performs better at lower resolutions.
