FarCry
We used Patch 1.3 for all benchmarks. In contrast to most other games, FarCry does not use alternate frame rendering (AFR) but split frame rendering (SFR) in SLI, which only leads to a moderate performance increase. Moreover, with incrasing resolution and added antialiasing, the SLI advantages completely disappears.
Default Graphics Settings, No AF / AA

At 1024 x 768 and without antialiasing, the system limitations outweigh the graphics performance which is reflected in the fact that all high-end cards score ajpproximately equal. Increasing resolution, however, changes this picture immediately and does the Münchhausen trick for the X850 XT PE, which suddenly is way ahead of the competition.
8 x Anisotropic Filtering + 4 x Antialiasing

With anisotropic filtering and antialiasing enabled, the Sapphire X850XT PE is literally destroying the competition.
