3DMark'05 Firefly Forest

3DMark2005 contains three different "gaming benchmarks", that is Return to Proxycon, Firefly Forest and finally Canyon Flight. In terms of overall flash and dance, Return to Proxycon and Canyon Flight are more impressive, however, Fireflight Forest with its lighting and shadow effects is probably the one that is hardest on the graphics adapter. Exactly for that reason, we chose to show the Firefly Forest data as exemplary for the entire suite of gaming benchmarks using standard settings as well as 4 x antialiasing


No AA

The results pretty much mirrow those shown for the overall results on the last page.

4xAA

Once again, to no surprise, the X850PE is the undisputed winner.
